Amazing authentic traditional Czech food! Stayed in Prague for only three days, but went there twice. The food feels home made, and each time was very tasty. Wish we stayed longer to eat there more. Prices are very affordable in the heart of Prague! Highly recommend!
Excellent food, fresh and tasty. It’s buffet style and one must try their Goulash! You’ll get an empty sheet at the entrance and every order will be added to this list. You can pay when exiting the place. Recommended!

The setup is cafeteria-style, so you line up with a tray and choose your food as you go. It’s quick, easy, and actually part of the charm. It felt like a true local experience – no frills, just good food. Highly recommended if you want something authentic without breaking the bank!

The food is amazing and probably the best traditional Czech food that I tried. Lovely canteen style vibe inside the restaurant as well and of course the food was ready in a few seconds. I went for the most traditional and well known dish which was dish #1 on the menu with a side of spinach.
A local cafeteria-styled restaurant with local prices in the center of old town square. We couldn’t believe the prices were real, it’s a third of even the more affordable restaurants in Prague. We knew it was good as soon as we came in and saw a crowd of local Czechs all lined up! The interior is very spacious with clean booth seating. There’s also a pretty greenhouse-esque seating area. The food is the most authentic you can get, if that’s what you’re looking for. Definitely worth a trip!
A fun traditional Czech canteen type eatery. Good food, reasonable prices! Finally found fruit dumplings too which are amazing!! There will be a wait for your food but worth it!
Havelská Koruna was a really good spot for an introduction to traditional Czech food. It was cheap, efficient, and delicious. The concept felt a bit overwhelming at first, and I struggled to get my head around it, but it turned out to be very delightful. I loved that they had seating options for people who wanted to sit alone, and nooks for families to sit together. I definitely recommend this canteen if you're in Prague
